I love overnight oats.
All you need is just 10 minutes before you go to bed and you will have an amazing breakfast when you wake up. What is even better is that I can grab them from my refrigerator during my hectic mornings without even thinking about what to make.
These oats are perfect for any time of year. You can use any milk you like, I just prefer almond milk but coconut or 2% would also be a great choice. I like the tartness of the berries with the honey. Feel free to use any fruit you’d like! This recipe is super versatile.
Overnight oats are also great but they are so easy and customizable. As long as you have the oats and some milk, you have the free range to make it to your liking. You can add yogurt too for a creamy texture to your oatmeal.
I must admit, my coworker loves really sweet overnight oats and oatmeal in general. My advice to her is to instead of using sugar to sweeten it up, use sweeter fruits like bananas to get that added sweetness. Just be aware of all the sugar that can sneak in, which can derail your healthy breakfast.
